    Thanks for the suggestion. So would I.

    There is no timeline for this, but recently I've been considering the fate of WebCopy. One thing I'm steadily thinking should be a higher priority is bumping the framework from .NET (Framework) to .NET (Core) for the core libraries and CLI. That opens the door for cross platform use - amongst other things.

    The sticking point is the UI which is current using WinForms and while I've tested simple applications using Mono before, firstly I'm not even sure if that is still active, and secondly WebCopy GUI makes use of many Win32 interop calls which may not be present in Mono. So it may be that the GUI would have to be forked for cross platform use.

    Anyway, I am in early days in planning this... but I can say it is an end goal for the project.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay in responding, I don't recall seeing a notification for this item.

    Pause resume is logged as #165. I currently hope to finally implement this oft-requested feature in 1.10.

    Multithread crawling is also frequently requested, this is logged as #61. I hope to implement this as either part of 1.10 or 1.11.

    Apologies again for not noticing this had been posted.

    Regards;
    Richard Moss

    Paul,

    Many thanks for the feedback.

    The Quick Scan triggering an initial scan was supposed to be a user convenience so that it is less clicks for a user but I can appreciate that if the defaults aren't suitable for your case this could be an issue. I'll certainly look into that.

    When performing a full analyse or copy, the progress window can be minimised, which also triggers the application window to minimise too. Quick Scan wasn't really intended to be a "fire-and-forget" operation as I had assumed it would be used to scan the first level or two of a website to allow easy exclusions of things such as forums or logout pages. It's original purpose was simply to try and make it clear to the user what would be copied and what wouldn't be and allow the changing of some common settings that affect this.

    I'll be touching the Quick Scan dialogue as part of 1.9 when merging in a large rewrite of decision logic so I will update it at the same time to allow it to be minimised, and to minimize the main window at the same time, therefore behaving the same as the main progress window.

    Once again, thanks for the feedback.

    Regards;
    Richard Moss

    Hello,

    All our software should be fully Unicode capable. It would be helpful if you could clarify any specific Cyotek product or service that you're having issues entering Turkish characters into.
